Can I put my fridge in the garage?

Modified on Tue, 27 May at 9:23 AM

No, our fridges are not certified for use in garages. This is due to the significant temperate changes that can occur in Canadian garages. The air compressors used to provide cooling in fridges work within specific temperature ranges, and when the temperate moves outside of those ranges, they can no longer keep your fridge cool. This is standard on the vast majority of fridges from any manufacturer. If you keep your fridge in the garage and it begins to get warm in the winter, that is an expected outcome.

Our freezers, however, are rated for use in the garage.
